Sign & Autograph Pen - Craft Design Technology
Description
Sign & Autograph Pen
Fluid lines. No hesitation. A classic writing tool, thoughtfully renewed.
Introduced in 1963 by Pentel, the Sign Pen was designed to be simple, reliable, and easy to use. More than sixty years later, it remains one of the most recognizable water-based ink pens in the world, with over two billion produced and used across more than 100 countries.
This CDT edition preserves the pen’s original form while introducing a subtle refinement. The body is finished in the traditional Japanese color Byakuroku—a soft, fresh green with a pale tone—paired with a matte silver logo that adds quiet contrast.
The defining feature of the Sign Pen is its gently flexible fiber tip. The nib responds naturally to pressure, allowing strokes that taper, curve, and vary in thickness—ideal for expressive handwriting, sketching, and everyday notes.
Filled with bright water-based ink and available in a range of colors—including gray and pink alongside classic black, red, blue, and green—the Sign Pen moves easily between practical use and creative expression.
A simple instrument. Built on decades of trust.
