RADMOR RAGES AGAINST GOLF’S FAST FASHION MACHINE

Not long after RADMOR launched, Forbes writer Mike Dojc sat down with founders Scott Morrison and Bob Conrad to explore the story behind the brand and a conversation that had begun decades earlier as teammates on the University of Washington golf team.

The feature traces two very different paths back to the same idea. Morrison spent more than two decades helping shape the premium denim industry, founding Paper Denim & Cloth, Earnest Sewn and 3x1, while Conrad pursued professional golf on the Nationwide, Canadian and Asian tours.

Years later, the longtime friends reunited in Seattle to build the golf brand they had first imagined in college.

At the center of the Forbes story is one of the questions that led to RADMOR: Why was an industry built around a game played in nature so dependent on virgin synthetic materials?

Their answer was to approach golf apparel differently.

Better materials. Better design. Greater longevity. Less reliance on virgin synthetics. Clothing made to perform on the course, but designed to live well beyond it.

A lot has changed at RADMOR since this story was first published in 2022. The collections have evolved. The brand has grown. And our understanding of what it means to make better clothing continues to evolve with it.

But the original idea remains remarkably familiar.

Buy less. Buy better. Keep it longer.
