ABOUT RADMOR: MODERN GOLF, MADE MORE THOUGHTFULLY

RADMOR is an independent golf and lifestyle brand founded in Seattle in 2020 by longtime friends and former University of Washington golf teammates Scott Morrison and Bob Conrad.

Built from a shared lifetime in golf, more than two decades of experience in fashion and a belief that the clothes we wear can be made more thoughtfully, RADMOR creates modern menswear, womenswear and accessories designed for the course and everywhere the game takes you beyond it.

Our approach begins with making great clothing.

Exceptional fabrics. Considered fits. Thoughtful construction. Natural fibers whenever possible, recycled alternatives where performance requires them, and less reliance on the virgin polyester that has become so prevalent in golf apparel.

We believe sustainability and great design should work together. A garment should look good, feel exceptional, perform when asked and be made well enough that you want to keep wearing it for years.

Our philosophy is simple: buy less, buy better, take care of it and keep it longer.

WHO FOUNDED RADMOR?

RADMOR was founded by Scott Morrison and Bob Conrad, former University of Washington golf teammates, college roommates and lifelong friends who first talked about creating a golf brand together more than 30 years ago.

After college, their lives took very different paths.

Scott moved to New York and spent more than two decades in the fashion industry. He co-founded Paper Denim & Cloth in 1999 and Earnest Sewn in 2004, later served as CEO and Creative Director of EVISU, and founded 3x1 Denim in 2011. His career has been shaped by a deep appreciation for fabric, fit, construction and the belief that what something is made from matters just as much as how it looks.

Bob pursued professional golf, competing for more than six years across the Nationwide, Canadian and Asian tours after an accomplished collegiate and amateur career that included competing in the 1995 U.S. Amateur at Newport Country Club.

Scott brought a lifetime of experience making clothes. Bob brought a lifetime of understanding the game and what golfers need from the clothes they wear.

Decades after first imagining the idea as college teammates, they came back together in Seattle to create RADMOR.

WHY DID WE START RADMOR?

Part of the inspiration for RADMOR came from a contradiction we found increasingly difficult to ignore.

Golf is a game played outdoors, surrounded by grass, trees, water and open space, yet much of modern golf apparel had become dependent on virgin petroleum-based synthetic materials.

Having spent decades in fashion, Scott had watched the broader apparel industry begin asking difficult questions about materials, waste and the environmental impact of making clothes. When he and Bob looked at golf, they felt many of those same conversations were only beginning.

We saw an opportunity to participate in that change.

Not by pretending there was a perfect answer, but by making more thoughtful choices.

Could we use natural fibers where others relied almost exclusively on synthetics? Could recycled materials replace some virgin polyester without sacrificing performance? Could we make golf clothing that people wanted to wear for years rather than seasons?

Those questions became part of the foundation of RADMOR.

We officially launched in Seattle in 2020 from a spare office inside EFESTĒ Winery in the city’s SoDo neighborhood. Starting a company during that period brought challenges none of us could have anticipated, but it also gave us time to think carefully about the kind of brand we wanted RADMOR to become.

WHAT MAKES RADMOR DIFFERENT?

We believe great golf apparel should begin with great clothing.

That means fabric matters. Fit matters. Construction matters. How something feels after its fiftieth wear matters just as much as how it looks the first time you put it on.

Our collections draw from fashion, sport and the Pacific Northwest rather than relying solely on the traditional conventions of golf apparel. We favor considered colors, refined silhouettes and materials chosen not only for performance, but for how they feel and how they age.

We also believe golf clothes should have a life beyond golf.

A polo should work under a sweater or jacket long after you leave the course. A trouser should feel equally appropriate at dinner as it does walking down a fairway. A great knit should simply be a great knit.

Always designed to be worn, well, beyond.

WHAT DOES SUSTAINABILITY MEAN TO RADMOR?

Sustainability has been part of RADMOR from the beginning.

One of the reasons we started the company was our concern with golf apparel’s reliance on virgin polyester and other petroleum-based synthetic materials. We wanted to explore whether natural, recycled and more thoughtfully sourced fibers could play a larger role in modern performance apparel.

Today, that continues to influence how we design and make our collections.

We prioritize premium natural and cellulose-based fibers such as Pima cotton, merino wool and TENCEL where they make sense. When the performance characteristics of synthetics are necessary, we look to recycled alternatives, including REPREVE recycled polyester, rather than automatically defaulting to virgin polyester.

But we’ve also learned that sustainability is complicated.

There is no perfect fiber and no impact-free piece of clothing. Natural materials require resources to grow and process. Recycled synthetics still have limitations. Manufacturing, transportation and eventually disposing of a garment all have consequences.

So we try to be thoughtful about the choices we can control.

Use better materials where possible.

Reduce unnecessary reliance on virgin synthetics.

Design with longevity in mind.

Make clothing people genuinely want to keep.

For us, sustainability isn’t only about what appears on a fiber-content label. It is also about creating something worth owning for a long time.

Buy less. Buy better. Take care of it. Wear it for years.

That idea has been with RADMOR from the beginning, and it continues to guide us today.

WHAT DOES PACIFIC NORTHWEST GOLF MEAN TO US?

RADMOR was born in Seattle, via New York and Southern California. and the Pacific Northwest continues to shape how we see both golf and clothing.

Golf here is different.

It can mean drizzle in June, firm ground in August and several seasons of weather before you reach the back nine. It is played among Douglas firs, along Puget Sound, through mountain landscapes and across some of the most distinctive courses in America.

That relationship with the outdoors is also part of why materials and sustainability mattered to us from the beginning. When so much of your life in golf is spent outside, it becomes difficult not to think about the relationship between what you make and the environment in which you use it.

The Northwest also influences the way we dress.

Life here tends to move easily between the course and everything that comes afterward, and we design RADMOR with that same versatility in mind.

Golf may be where the day begins.

It doesn’t have to dictate what you wear for the rest of it.

IS RADMOR ONLY FOR GOLF?

Golf will always be at the center of RADMOR.

It is how our founders met. It has been part of their lives for more than 40 years. It is the reason this company exists.

But we’ve never believed golf clothing should only be wearable while playing golf.

Our collections are designed around a broader idea of modern golf culture, where performance, design and everyday life naturally overlap.

A knit polo doesn’t need to look like technical sportswear.

A trouser shouldn’t become irrelevant when you leave the course.

A great sweater is simply a great sweater.

We design for golf, with the hope that you’ll find plenty of reasons to wear RADMOR when you’re not playing it.

Beyond the course. Beyond expectations.

WHERE CAN I BUY RADMOR?

RADMOR collections are available directly through RADMOR.com and through select golf shops, clubs and specialty retailers.

We also work with green-grass, wholesale and corporate partners on custom programs for golf shops, tournaments, teams, events and gifting.

RADMOR was born from a friendship, a lifelong connection to golf and a belief that the clothes surrounding the game could be made a little differently.

More thoughtfully.

With better materials.

With greater consideration for how long they might be worn and where they might take you.

That remains the goal today.
