Golf has a way of staying with you.
You can grow up competing, spend years chasing scores and learning the peculiar discipline the game demands, then eventually discover that golf has given you something much larger than a swing or a handicap.
For Sienna Scibird, the game has become a language through which she sees much of the world.
Long before we knew Sienna as a model, creator and friend of RADMOR, she was a competitive golfer. Growing up in California, she became a league individual champion and MVP before earning the opportunity to play Division I golf at Cal Poly.
She knows the game from the inside.
The early mornings. Tournament nerves. Range sessions that go nowhere. The strange mixture of confidence and doubt required to stand over a golf ball with absolutely no one else to blame for what happens next.
That background still informs much of what Sienna does today, although the way she expresses her relationship with golf has become considerably more interesting.
BEYOND THE SCORECARD
What we have always liked about Sienna is that she doesn't treat golf as something that needs to be contained within the traditional boundaries of the sport.
For her, golf comfortably shares space with fashion, travel, culture, humor and curiosity.
One day she may be wearing RADMOR somewhere beautiful, making golf look considerably easier than it actually is. The next, she may be questioning some deeply entrenched assumption about the game, making an observation nobody else thought to make, or disappearing down an intellectual rabbit hole that somehow begins with golf and ends somewhere completely unexpected.
That range is part of what makes her interesting.
Sienna understands the traditions of golf because she grew up inside them, but she isn't particularly interested in being constrained by them. She can appreciate the seriousness of competition while also recognizing that golf is, objectively speaking, a wonderfully strange game.
Perhaps you need to have played it seriously to understand both sides.
A NEW GENERATION OF GOLF
There is a generation of people helping reshape what golf looks and feels like today, not by rejecting the game that came before them, but by bringing more of themselves into it.
Sienna belongs naturally within that evolution.
Her perspective moves easily between golf and the world beyond it. Fashion, travel and lifestyle are part of the conversation, but so are the small absurdities, frustrations and existential questions familiar to anyone who has spent enough time chasing a small white ball around a very large piece of land.
That perspective has found an audience well beyond the traditional golf world.
Through her own social presence and the wonderfully named @swaggylaggygolfdaddy, Sienna approaches golf with intelligence, irreverence and a willingness to ask questions that may or may not have answers.
Some are about the golf swing.
Others are considerably more complicated.
We appreciate both.
FINDING RADMOR
Our relationship with Sienna developed naturally.
She understood golf, but she also understood what we were trying to do with RADMOR: create clothing that belonged to the game without being defined entirely by it.
That distinction matters.
We've always believed golfers are more interesting than the clothes traditionally marketed to them suggest. They travel. They care about music, food, architecture, art and design. They have lives and identities that don't disappear simply because they've stepped onto a first tee.
Sienna embodies that idea almost effortlessly.
When she wears RADMOR, it rarely feels like traditional golf modeling. The clothes become part of a larger world, moving between courses, cities, hotels, beaches and wherever she happens to find herself next.
That is precisely how we have always hoped RADMOR would be worn.
Not as a uniform.
As clothing for people who happen to love golf.
CURIOUS BY NATURE
Spend enough time around Sienna and one quality becomes particularly apparent: she is genuinely curious.
About golf.
About people.
About why things work the way they do.
And occasionally about why everyone has collectively agreed to accept something that, upon closer inspection, makes very little sense at all.
We like people who ask those kinds of questions.
RADMOR itself began with one.
Why is a game played almost entirely in nature so dependent on clothing made from virgin, petroleum-based polyester?
That question eventually led Bob and me down a path that became a company.
Sienna's questions may lead somewhere entirely different.
That's the point.
Curiosity is often where interesting things begin.
STILL EVOLVING
Sienna's story within golf is still being written.
Competitive golf was one chapter. What has followed is something broader and perhaps more personal, bringing together the game she grew up playing with fashion, travel, creativity and a voice unmistakably her own.
We're fortunate that RADMOR has become part of that story.
More importantly, we're happy to know her.
Because Citizens of the Game have never been defined solely by how well they play.
They're defined by what they bring to golf, what they take from it and the ways they help the rest of us see the game a little differently.
Sienna does exactly that.
Sometimes thoughtfully.
Sometimes irreverently.
Usually with a question none of us were expecting.
