Workshop Score: 7.5/10
This putter comes from an earlier era of Scotty Cameron craftsmanship—when Cameron designs were produced under the Titleist umbrella and helped define the modern standard for milled putters.
The Laguna 2 is a softer, more flowing interpretation of a traditional blade. With its rounded bumpers, flowing neck, and slightly more organic shaping, it offers a different visual and performance profile compared to the sharper lines of a Newport. It’s a shape that naturally suits players with a slight arc in their stroke, allowing the putter to release more freely through impact.
Finished in the iconic Pro Platinum coating, this putter delivers both durability and a muted, glare-resistant appearance at address. The feel is unmistakably classic Cameron—soft, responsive, and direct—thanks to its precision-milled construction and insert-free face.
This particular build is configured at 34" and fitted with a Ping oversized grip, offering a slightly more stable, modern feel in the hands while maintaining the integrity of the original head design.
There’s a simplicity to this putter that’s hard to replicate today. No inserts. No adjustments. Just shape, feel, and trust.
